Teddy’s Kitchen: Local Ingredients, Big Flavours

Behind our kitchen pass, Chef Teddy’s been a busy chap. We’ve just launched our brand new A La Carte dishes—and yes, they’re every bit as good as they sound.

Teddy has this quiet passion for ingredients that’s honestly a joy to witness. He’s particularly excited about a new dish featuring wild Devon dayboat salmon, nestled on a bed of squash purée, finished with prawn oil and a whisper of Welsh samphire. It’s the kind of dish that speaks softly but confidently. Add a chilled glass of Chablis on the side? You’re in heaven.

Lunchtime Just Got Interesting

We know the struggle—lunchtimes can be a bit same-same. But not here. We’ve just rolled out a brand new lunch menu, and it’s designed to turn your midday break into something you actually look forward to.

Whether you’re popping in between meetings or catching up with a friend, our lunch dishes are quick, fresh, and full of flavour. Think light seasonal plates, handmade pastas, and gorgeous grilled options that don’t weigh you down. It’s food that fuels your day—without sending you straight into a nap.


Sundays, Reimagined

Sundays used to be all about the roast—and don’t get us wrong, we love a roast—but lately we’ve been shaking things up. Fresh pasta, grilled cuts of beef, and lighter, summer-friendly plates have been making their way onto the Sunday menu. It’s a little more laid-back, a bit more Mediterranean, and a lot more fun.

We’re now open until 8pm on Sundays, giving you more time to enjoy a long, lazy afternoon. Think post-lunch strolls on the Common, maybe a beer in hand, and a plate of something delicious waiting when you’re ready. It’s all about stretching out the weekend, just a little longer.
